Policy & Procedure Analyst FLSA StatusNon- Exempt Schedule: Monday through Friday: 8:30AM-5:00PM To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs. Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced. In This Role, You Will: Report to the Manager, Policies & Procedures, in the Mariner Finance Compliance Department. Be responsible for development and maintenance of policy and procedures documents to reflect Mariner Finance’s operations to enable consistent performance and outcomes. Work with all business units to revise, refine, and/or create required policies and procedures made available across the company. Responsibilities and Essential Duties: Analyze, write, and update comprehensive operating policies and procedures to meet business needs. Collaborate with various business units to maintain existing policies and procedures and develop new policies in response to regulatory changes or company initiatives. Build and maintain strong working relationships with teams within the organization to solicit feedback and synthesize multiple perspectives into comprehensive policy proposals. Identify potential enhancements and the need for development of new policies and procedures. Participate in department and project meetings, document results, and follow up to ensure timely completion of agreed actions. Practice effective project and time management skills by creating tasks and timelines to meet deadlines. Draft announcements to inform employees of policy updates. Participate in special projects as assigned. May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a corporate setting with demonstrated success meeting deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Experience with web-based technologies. Minimum of one (1) year of technical writing experience with knowledge of current industry standards for technical writing, appropriate English grammar and usage, and editing and proofreading. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent proofreading skills. Outstanding and meticulous organization skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and timelines and meet deadlines. Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or similar degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
