About The Position

This role is a limited term appointment for 12 months covering a career break. About the role Do you want to help shape the future of the Isle of Man? We are seeking a Policy Development Officer to join the Cabinet Office Policy Development Team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of Government, supporting the Chief Minister, the Minister for the Cabinet Office, and the Council of Ministers in delivering key policy objectives. As a Policy Development Officer, you will contribute to shaping policies that support the Island Plan's priorities for a secure, vibrant, and sustainable community. You will work on a range of policy projects, either independently or as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across Government and external stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, political awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be organised, proactive, and able to build constructive relationships at all levels.
