About The Position
The Policy Attorney position within the Health and Human Services Commission is responsible for providing legal advice and support to various agencies and programs within the health and human services system. This role involves significant interaction with these agencies, assisting with legislative matters, rule-making, and general agency guidance. The attorney will primarily support Texas Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, which serve over 4 million Texans, and will work collaboratively with other attorneys in the Legal Services Division. The position allows for telework up to 100% and emphasizes work-life balance.
