About The Position

This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for analysis, development, research, and special studies for matters impacting a diverse portfolio of human resources information technology. Responsibilities include support for correspondence, policy, issuances, congressional and legislative affairs, and strategic planning.

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Assists, manages, tracks progress, and provides oversight for human resources information technology policy, related issuances, reporting, congressional engagements, and correspondence.
Monitors laws, policies, programs, special interests, and areas of concern regarding human resources information technology policies, programs, and operations.
Develops and updates issuances and policies to establish and maintain compliance and standardization.
Leads and conducts projects and studies requiring analysis and evaluation of program effectiveness. Assesses performance of key initiatives.
Develops strategic communications messaging, channels, activities, and partnerships.
Serves as a focal point for human resources IT inquiries.
