The City of Brockton is seeking a Policy/Intergovernmental Affairs Associate to work in the Office of the Mayor. This full-time, benefited, non-union position is responsible for drafting and creating policies on specific initiatives, coordinating with various agencies and departments, and establishing information links to ensure efficient data flow among the Mayor, Departments, the City Council, and the public. The associate will interact regularly with local, state, and federal elected officials, serve as a project manager on interdepartmental initiatives, and track legislation of importance to the City. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in public policy or public administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
