The Policy/Intergovernmental Affairs Associate will work in the Office of the Mayor, focusing on drafting and creating policies for specific initiatives. This role involves coordinating with various local, state, and federal agencies, as well as external organizations and City departments. The associate will establish information links to ensure efficient data flow among the Mayor, Departments, the City Council, other elected officials, and the public. Regular interaction with elected officials and their staff is expected, along with project management responsibilities for interdepartmental initiatives. The associate will also track local, state, and federal legislation relevant to the City and collaborate with departments to advocate and write testimony on behalf of the City. Additional duties may be assigned by the Mayor.
