About The Position
NAMI Chicago is seeking a Policy and Advocacy Intern for the Summer or Fall of 2025. This unpaid internship will require a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week and will involve in-office work at least 3 days per week at our Chicago location. The intern will report to the Sr. Director of Policy and will be involved in various activities aimed at supporting NAMI Chicago's mission to educate, advocate, and support individuals affected by mental health conditions. The role will provide exposure to macro-level challenges in Chicago's mental health system and will emphasize building relationships within the community to create impactful change.
