About The Position

The Director will provide policy support, insights, and guidance to assigned priority brands as well as provide policy expertise in key areas of pharmaceutical policy such as FDA and regulatory policy. The Director will provide expert insight and guidance to advise efforts of the Federal Government Affairs and State Government Affairs teams and will represent Astellas as a thought leader with external policy stakeholders to help advance Astellas policy priorities in assigned areas. The Director will help create policy positions that sustain a positive business and development environment for Astellas, while positioning the company as a credible and respected leader in the health care industry. In this role, the Director will work in an integrated manner with key business functions to ensure the Company's policy efforts support business objectives across the organization.
