Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Interest in law enforcement
18 + years of age at the time of application
Coursework in criminal justice preferred
Valid driver license required.
Meet the objectives outlined in the training procedural manual for the apprenticeship program within the set timeframe.
Ability to pass an extensive background investigation.
Valid Driver’s License of the appropriate class.

Has or currently participates in a Police Explorer or Cadet program that is interested in future law enforcement

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support to front-line officers and police staff
Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries from the public
Assist with maintaining accurate records and reports
Learn how to use police systems and procedures securely and effectively
Support community policing and crime prevention efforts
