About The Position
The Phoenix Police Department is offering a $7,500 hiring bonus to new Police Recruit. This bonus will be paid in two equal installments as follows: on your check after swearing in as a Phoenix Police Officer and on your check following successful completion of probation. In addition, if you are referred to apply by a current city employee, that city employee may receive a bonus of $2,500 when you have successfully been hired and passed probation. The name of the referring city employee and employee ID must be specified on the job application at time of submission in order for the payments to be awarded. We are actively seeking community focused individuals to partner with us and apply and become a Police Recruit for Phoenix, Arizona, the 5th largest city in the United States. Police Recruits attend a 26-week paid training program at the Phoenix Regional Police Academy (PRPA) learning various topics related to law enforcement. Upon successful completion of the academy, Recruits are Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Certified and promoted to Police Officer.
