We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our elite Police department, where excellence, integrity, and community engagement are at the forefront of our mission. We are actively seeking community focused individuals to partner with us and apply and become a Police Recruit for Phoenix, Arizona, the 5th largest city in the United States. Police Recruits attend a 26-week paid training program at the Phoenix Regional Police Academy (PRPA) learning various topics related to law enforcement. Upon successful completion of the academy, Recruits are Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Certified and promoted to Police Officer.

Requirements

• Applicants are to be at least 20.5 years old within two months of the date of application.
• Must be 21 years of age before graduating from the academy.
• United States citizenship.
• A high school diploma, home school diploma, or a GED equivalency.
• Positions in the Police Department must meet the polygraph and background standards that are appropriate to sworn positions.
