The Opportunity: A UCF Police Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe University environment by enforcing State Statutes, local ordinances, and University Regulations. Key duties include proactive patrol, emergency response, conducting criminal investigations, making arrests, and managing traffic flow. The officer must maintain a professional demeanor while striving to build a positive rapport with the community, supporting community programs, and accurately documenting all police actions and administrative tasks.
