About The Position

On a set 10-hours-per-day, forty-hour work week schedule, you will work closely with experienced officers to gain hands-on training in forensics, law enforcement techniques, and crisis intervention. Expect to participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in various areas of policing. Requirements

  • At least 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • US Citizen
  • NO disqualifying criminal convictions (Misdemeanor 2 or higher)
  • Take and pass the Standard & Associates, Inc. National Post Officer Selection Test (POST)
  • Minimum 9th grade reading level
  • In-person interview
  • Physical examination
  • Drug test
  • Pass a vision test and hearing exam (MPOETC standards)
  • Physical fitness test and psychological examination (MPOETC standards)
