About The Position

The Long Prairie Police Department is looking for a highly motivated, dedicated applicant to fill an open Full-Time Police Officer Position. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completed two (2) years of post-secondary education in law enforcement or related field, possession of a MN POST Board License, or eligible to be licensed in 2025, and a valid driver's license. Lateral transfers are encouraged to apply. We welcome all applicants and are well equipped to provide training for new and experienced officers.
