About The Position
The Lehi City Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer, serving the city of Lehi, a dynamic and progressive community of nearly 95,000 residents. The population of Lehi City has increased dramatically over the past decade and is expected to continue growing. The Police Department has assignments in Patrol, Investigations, SRO, K9, Code Enforcement, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, and SWAT. Requirements
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment
- Preferred to possess Utah P.O.S.T Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) certification in good standing or be certifiable prior to date of employment.
- Applicants must possess a valid Utah driver's license or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge of community-oriented policing, patrol operations, criminal investigations, report writing, and safety standards related to the use of vehicles, firearms, and other police equipment.
