About The Position
The Chino Police Department is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team of well trained professionals who are committed to providing quality service to those who live, visit, and do business in Chino. The department operates with a high level of integrity, which serves as the foundation for all that they do. Police Officers are assigned to various functional areas within the Police Department on a rotating basis. Under general supervision, officers patrol assigned areas to prevent crime and enforce law and order, conduct investigations, and perform related work as assigned. Candidates must successfully pass a Physical Agility Test, an interview, an extensive Police Background Investigation, and an Administrative Review. Due to California State Law regarding firearms, candidates must be 21 years of age at the time of hire.
