This position is responsible for the protection of life and property and the enforcement of laws. Work involves a variety of duties in patrol, traffic, or crime investigation on an assigned shift (40 hours per week including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required). The selection process initially requires completion of all application materials. During the recruiting periods, top candidates will be identified following a comprehensive review of all such materials submitted. Subsequent phases of the process will include a polygraph examination, background investigation, oral interview and written exam, psychological assessment, and thorough medical examination.
