About The Position

This position enforces University, State, and Federal laws and regulations to protect life and property and serve the university community during Special Events. MUST CURRENTLY BE EMPLOYED AND COMMISSIONED AS A PEACE OFFICER FOR THE STATE OF ARIZONA BY A METROPOLITAN POLICE AGENCY.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
• Officers must be AZPOST certified and currently working with an Arizona metropolitan police agency.

Responsibilities

• Outside agency hire of Police Officers to supplement UAPD personnel during Special Events (on call)
• Officers will enforce university, state, and federal laws and regulations.
