About The Position

Lake Havasu City Police Department is calling all certified and experienced officers to one of Arizona’s most beautiful waterfront cities. Requirements

• AZ State certification as a Police Officer.
• United States Citizenship.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
• High school diploma or GED (preferably supplemented by coursework in Criminal Justice, and/or Military Service experience).
• Arizona driver’s license (or the ability to get one).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in law enforcement or military service.
• Additional certifications in specialized law enforcement areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform law enforcement duties including patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls for service, and conducting investigations.
• Enforce laws and ordinances, apprehend offenders, and prepare reports.
• Participate in community policing initiatives and engage with the community to foster positive relationships.
• Testify in court as needed regarding cases and investigations.
