About The Position

Southeastern Louisiana University's Police Department invites applications for the position of Police Investigator. This position is currently assigned to the Operations Divisions and works a Tuesday through Thursday, 10am-8pm schedule (subject to change based on departmental needs). Current Salary Police Investigator: $22.76/hr SER Police Investigator: Three years of experience in law enforcement work

Requirements

• Three years of law enforcement experience.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possession of a current Louisiana driver's license.
• Possession of an active Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification may be required.
• An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
