About The Position
The City of Laredo is seeking applicants for the position of Patrol Officer. All applicants must meet the police minimum standards in order to apply for the written police entrance examination. Applicants must create an applicant account and have an email address to apply online. Applications will be rejected if incomplete. If claiming veteran's preference, a copy of an honorable discharge (Form DD-214) must be uploaded with the application by the closing date. The application closing date is Tuesday, February 23rd, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Central Standard Time). After applying online, applicants must take the written examination on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, with registration from 8:15 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and the test starting at 9:15 A.M. at Sames Auto Arena, Laredo, Texas. A valid driver's license must be presented at the test site.
