About The Position

The Forensic Technician position at the Pembroke Pines Police Department involves learning and participating in various technical forensic functions, particularly focusing on the discovery and recovery of digital evidence. Requirements

• College degree or technical certification with at least 26 credit hours in relevant fields such as computer science, forensic science, or criminal justice.
• Good working skills with Microsoft Office products and equivalent computer technician skills.
• Experience with various operating systems including Apple Mac, Linux, and Unix.
• Familiarity with databases, Powershell, and mobile operating systems (iOS and Android).
• Willingness to complete continuing education courses and travel for training.
