About The Position
The Police Cadet position with the City of Lakeville is an entry-level role designed for individuals aspiring to become sworn police officers. This full-time position is part of the Intensive Comprehensive Peace Officer Education and Training (ICPOET) program, which provides fully-funded training at Hennepin Technical College. Cadets will earn a competitive salary while attending school and will transition to full-time police officer roles upon successful completion of the program and obtaining POST licensure eligibility.
