Poker / Slots Cage Cashier
About The Position
Poker Cashier: Hourly wage PLUS TIPS Accurately balances assigned bank. Makes exchanges of currency, coins and money equivalents with customers in a courteous and timely manner. Checks all bills for counterfeiting. Cashes out customer poker chips in accordance with internal controls and department procedures. Is held accountable for accuracy and thoroughness to ensure accurate departmental records and reports. Provides professional and positive guest interactions. Provides excellent customer service to all guests. Advises Floor Representative or a Casino Operations Supervisor of any customer service issues. All other duties assigned. Is held accountable for accuracy and thoroughness to ensure accurate departmental records and reports. Must provide excellent customer service to all patrons. Advises cash handling supervisors of any high level customer service issues. Is required to work with floor attendants to cash out jackpots. All other duties assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written form.
- Must have keen attention to detail and the ability to correct mistakes.
- Basic computer skills are required or the ability to learn.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include night, weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of previous cash handling experience preferred.
