About The Position

Deals various Poker games in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Opens and closes assigned Poker tables. Monitors and maintains card control, chip control, and other elements of Poker gaming integrity. Interacts with guests as needed in order to ensure high quality games. Responds to complaints, mediates disputes, and provides professional and positive guest interactions. Advises Poker Shift Manager or Floor Representative of any customer service issues. Answers questions concerning the poker room, game rules, promotions, and casino policies. Provides professional and positive guest interactions. Provides excellent customer service to all guests. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
  • Strong knowledge of poker rules in order to appropriately apply those rules during poker games.
  • Ability to pass a poker rules table test/audition.
  • Ability to Explain and operate Poker game play and tournament play.
  • Ability to handle cards and chips appropriately.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written form.
  • Must have keen attention to detail and the ability to correct mistakes.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Poker School Certification preferred.
  • No prior poker experience is required; however, at least 1+ years of poker dealing experience preferred.
