About The Position

The Poker Dealer position at PENN Entertainment involves providing a courteous and entertaining experience for guests while dealing poker games. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year Poker Dealing Experience with emphasis on Texas Hold Em' and Omaha Hi-Low Split.
• Six months experience in customer service field preferred.
• Pass an audition displaying adequate poker skills.
• Ability to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations for determining winners and losers and handling bets.
• Good manual dexterity for handling chips, cards, and money accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to respond calmly in stressful situations.
• Good oral and written communication skills, fluent and literate in English.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move easily around the pit area and entire property for the entire shift.
• Ability to listen and respond to visual and aural cues with excellent peripheral vision.
• Ability to tolerate varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, and crowds.
• Physically mobile with the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deal poker games to provide an entertaining experience for guests.
• Accept direction during daily operations to meet department standards and operational guidelines.
• Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with guests and provide game instructions upon request.
• Protect the integrity of the game through visual observation of guests and game layout.
• Present oneself as a credit to the company and encourage others to do the same.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
