About The Position

The Poker Cashier/Dealer position involves providing cashiering services and customer assistance in the Poker room, ensuring a courteous and entertaining experience for guests while generating revenue for the department. The role includes dealing poker games, managing chip exchanges, and maintaining game security, all while adhering to gaming regulations and internal controls.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
• Minimum six months to a year cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Knowledgeable in data entry and able to interpret output from a computer.

Responsibilities

• Perform even chips exchange and sell chips.
• Pay tournament payouts, Ace cracked, Bad Beat.
• Verify previous count sheet from assigned bank.
• Count down bank at end of each shift and reconcile to the cage accountability.
• Seat customers when necessary.
• Assist in updating player waiting lists when necessary.
• Wash and resort cards whenever necessary.
• Deal casino poker games as assigned.
• Provide game instructions to guests when requested.
• Sponsor new dealers as needed for on-the-job training.
• Maintain visual contact of all guests and game layout for game protection.
• Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with guests.
• Communicate all pertinent information to supervisor.
• Perform the function of Poker Brush when asked.
• Deal Poker (Texas Hold ‘em) at a consistent pace.
• Follow procedures and maintain a high level of concentration.
