About The Position
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Poison Center Educator - Department of Emergency Medicine at its Detroit campus location. The Poison Center Educator incorporates a combination of public health strategies to create, market, promote and increase awareness of the services of the Michigan Poison and Drug Information Center (MiPDC). This role is responsible for informing, educating, and empowering the population served in poison prevention and to reduce poisoning risks. Supports the Manager, Administrative and Clinical Directors of the Poison Center by establishing and implementing marketing, public relations and advocacy initiatives and attaining MiPDC goals. This position will report to the Manager, Poison Center Educator.
