About The Position

As the POEM Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of POEM services. This position is primarily remote and focuses on coordinating program activities, facilitatingmunication, and ensuring that program goals are met efficiently. You will provide direct peer support, assist with outreach, and manage administrative tasks to help expand POEM's impact in the region.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion for mental health andfort discussing personal recovery experiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Strongmunication,anizational, and administrative skills.
  • Comfortable discussing personal recovery and working with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, macOS, and database systems.
  • Availability for periodic in-person work in Cincinnati and occasional travel to Columbus (mileage reimbursed).

Responsibilities

  • Provide Peer CareConnect services directly to participants using lived experience to support recovery.
  • Facilitate at least one bi-weekly support group and serve as a backup facilitator as needed.
  • Maintain ethical peer support practices in alignment with OhioMHAS Peer Recovery Supporter Code of Ethics.
  • Responsively manage iing calls on the peer support line and contribute to online peer support forums.
  • Maintain accurate documentation,plete quarterly database audits, and track referrals, follow-ups, and oues.
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of Cincinnati-area provider referral pathways and contribute to statewide behavioral health directories.
  • Conduct outreach andmunity engagement to increase visibility and foster trust in the Cincinnati region.
  • Support volunteer recruitment, operations,munications, and recognition in collaboration with program leadership.
  • Coordinate stakeholdermunications and educational activities, including tabling and presentations.
  • Participate in program and agency-wide events and activities.
