Spectrum has an opportunity for a civilian Podiatry Technician at the Family Health Center in Dumfries, VA. We provide out-patient clinic services for enlisted and retired military personnel in association with Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital. Great schedule! Monday-Friday 0700-1530 Position Overview: Assists the certified practitioners in the fulfillment of consults to fit various orthotic soft-good devices, casting, and assists in various clinical and administrative procedures. Responsibilities

• Serves as Podiatry Technician of the Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Podiatry Clinic.
• Greets and checks patients in and provides instruction and information on scheduled procedures.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure supply area is kept stocked and clutter-free.
• Responsible for the purchase requisitions/restocking, receipts, issue, and inventory of medical and non-medical supplies
• Act as liaison between patients and the primary professional medical care provider.
• Assist health care provider to examine or treat patient
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories and order radiologic exams
