Job Description Summary: The PNOA Provider Data Management Coordinator relies on pre-established guidelines, sound judgment and decision-making to enter, maintain and clean up data in the Provider Module of the Precis database. The goal of this position is to ensure all elements pertaining to provider data are accurate, efficiently structured and up-to-date.

  • Collects, reviews and inputs demographic data and provider contracts into the Precis database.
  • Enters and reviews provider roster loads and adds/deletes/changes
  • Validates existing data using judgment, existing knowledge and external research tools to make necessary corrections
  • Verifies, researches and updates provider Tax ID information
  • Works with Information Technology to get provider data in our system
  • Maintains set-up and requests through the HMA, LLC Provider Portal
  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) or equivalent.
  • A minimum 1 year data validation experience.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive criticism, establish goals and objectives, and exhibit initiative and commitment.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of detailed and complex instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagrams, or work and data flows.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Health Plan or Health Care background preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
