About The Position

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Pneumatics Tester to join our talented technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is meticulous and technically minded to work hands-on with aviation components in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment. This position is for the second shift, Monday through Thursday from 2pm until midnight. As a Pneumatics Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft systems by conducting functional and pressure testing on pneumatic components. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and verifying the functionality of aircraft pneumatic components, such as valves, regulators, actuators, and other related systems. This includes operating manual and automated test equipment, analyzing test data, and ensuring that all components meet performance and safety standards before being approved for return to service. You will also need a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, and be responsible for the general upkeep of testing equipment and providing test reports. Requirements

  • Ability to work well with a team and excellent communication skills
  • +3 years minimum experience in pneumatic testing
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic and measurement tools such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and leak detectors.
  • Basic computer skills for test documentation and data entry.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain stationary for extended periods.
