The Pneumatic Assembler is responsible for pneumatic plumbing/piping, assembling, testing, completing, and installing paper converting machinery.

Requirements

  • Education generally equivalent to a high school diploma.
  • Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and do metric system conversions.
  • Requires good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to collaborate with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics, electrical code manuals, and other manufacturing instructions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reads and follows entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Install magnehelic components and transducers with related plumbing.
  • Assemble and install cable, wire, and pneumatic tubing/ hose management devices, such as cable tray, conduit, and wire way.
  • Assemble and install pneumatic and hydraulic control boxes.
  • Install route and terminate pneumatic, hydraulic, grease and oiler tubing/ hoses components on equipment.
  • Sub-assemble pneumatic, hydraulic, grease and oiler components.
  • Operate material handling equipment.
  • Travel preferred.
  • Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures.
  • Maintains a clean work area.
  • Department clean up and improvement projects.
