Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and or initiatives and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Provides subject matter expertise based on established project management techniques. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience, including healthcare or provider network operations
  • Proven experience managing large‑scale, cross‑functional healthcare projects
  • Formal project management training or certification preferred (PMP, PgMP, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Strong understanding of provider network functions such as contracting, credentialing, reimbursement, and network performance
  • Experience working with health plans, provider organizations, managed care, or value‑based arrangements
  • Proficiency with project management tools and reporting platforms
  • Advanced project planning, organization, and execution skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive‑level presentations
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and lead without direct authority
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
  • High attention to detail with the ability to see the broader strategic picture
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, multi‑workstream provider network initiatives from initiation through implementation, including network expansion, optimization, and compliance projects
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Provider Contracting, Provider Reimbursement, IT, Compliance, and Operations
  • Serve as primary project stakeholder liaison, ensuring alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues and recommend solutions as needed
  • Track and report project performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables to senior leadership
  • Drive process improvement and standardization within provider network operations
