Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and or initiatives and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Provides subject matter expertise based on established project management techniques. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
7+ years of progressive project management experience, including healthcare or provider network operations
Proven experience managing large‑scale, cross‑functional healthcare projects
Formal project management training or certification preferred (PMP, PgMP, Lean, Six Sigma)
Strong understanding of provider network functions such as contracting, credentialing, reimbursement, and network performance
Experience working with health plans, provider organizations, managed care, or value‑based arrangements
Proficiency with project management tools and reporting platforms
Advanced project planning, organization, and execution skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive‑level presentations
Ability to influence, negotiate, and lead without direct authority
Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills
Comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
High attention to detail with the ability to see the broader strategic picture
Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Lead complex, multi‑workstream provider network initiatives from initiation through implementation, including network expansion, optimization, and compliance projects
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Provider Contracting, Provider Reimbursement, IT, Compliance, and Operations
Serve as primary project stakeholder liaison, ensuring alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues and recommend solutions as needed
Track and report project performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables to senior leadership
Drive process improvement and standardization within provider network operations
