Lead one or more large or platform programs independently; lead globally distributed teams Act as Team Lead to assigned programs, building a team of cross-functional members, conducting meetings, establishing deliverables and accountability, communicating progress and results to all interested parties, and ensuring that all critical elements of the program, from design to commercialization, are on target to meet objectives Provide leadership on measures, impact assessment, removal of roadblocks, conflicts, and change of scope decisions Provide leadership on measures, impact assessment, removal of roadblocks, conflicts, and change of scope decisions Mentor Associate Project Managers, Projects Managers and Program Managers Provide New Product Development training to all core team personnel worldwide; create and update training materials as a subject matter expert Identify, plan and lead process improvement initiatives to support the growth and development or best practices and process Ensure New Product Development and business processes compliance for programs Communicate program status, issues and metrics to the Business Unit Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Program Management experience in technical and/or consumer projects with HW and SW components
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies
  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Chamberlain Group mission, vision and values.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification strongly preferred; or commitment to obtain certification within one (1) year of date of hire or promotion.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred; or commitment to obtain certification within two (2) years of date of hire or promotion.
