PMO Project Manager
About The Position

Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership, execution, and management of customer projects, ensuring customer requirements are achieved while focusing on Measurement Solutions strategic goals. This is not an IT focused role. This role is centered around supporting our customers and products throughout the entire process from proposal to shipment. We're seeking someone who is passionate about customer support, enjoys collaborating across teams and with external partners, and has project management experience directly related to product support. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Lead and manage all activities relating to the customers' project requirements from execution to closeout according to the Measurement Solutions PMO process, with timely and consistent communication to the customer, sales, project team, and supply chain Utilize interpersonal savvy, problem solving skills, and managerial courage to successfully address all issues pertaining to assigned projects. Participate and assist sales and the proposal manager during the pursuit/proposal phase in maintaining the customer relationship, providing insight on execution capabilities, resource allocation, and other responsibilities Build and maintain relationships across the organization and world areas to facilitate successful project execution and management Be responsible for following established project management standards, while anticipating problems and mitigating risks to the customer and business Create and establish communication plans, project timelines, and project reports to keep project on track and stakeholders up to date on the project status Maintain understanding of general business practices and knowledge of Measurement Solutions' standard business terms and conditions and product portfolio. Acquire and maintain familiarity with process industry and Import/Export regulations, and initiates process improvements utilizing Quality tools Participate on Global Project teams addressing Project business and management Who You Are: You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of six (6) years related experience
- Experience interfacing directly with customers, including leading presentations and managing expectations.
- Ability to travel up to 10% - domestic or international
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided
Nice To Haves
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - can be obtained while in role
- A customer-focused Project Manager that has supported collaborative projects supporting products
- Strong collaboration skills - we need someone who excels at partnering with both internal and external stakeholders
- Backgrounds in engineering or manufacturing may fit well, provided there is a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and externally
