About The Position

Nabors is currently seeking a motivated Project Manager with product applications, Robotics applications, SCADA systems/Industrial Automation Control Systems, Instrumentation Systems, and cloud solutions experience in a dynamic Rig environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part introducing new industry products! You will have the opportunity to work on some exciting Nabors products like the 'Smart' product line (SmartROS, SmartDRILL), RigCLOUD and more! In this Project Manager role, you will be responsible for tracking, and communicating the project progress, achieving project milestones on time, while ensuring consistent delivery of expected scope. This position will lead multiple projects and drive consulting, client, and subcontractor teams to deliver to the desired business objectives for the project. This includes working with internal and external stakeholders to meet implementation timelines. You will be reporting and presenting to senior leadership with a mix of onsite and telecommuting to various locations. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of exposure to IT, automation, robotics, SCADA/ICS, or instrumentation projects.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage projects using waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies in complex, dynamic environments.
  • Experience delivering multi-vendor and 3rd-party integrations, with knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and IT/OT convergence.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage executives, clients, technical teams, and field operators.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving process improvement and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mid- to large-scale IT and automation projects (equipment controls, robotics, SCADA/ICS, instrumentation systems, and cloud solutions) to successful completion on time and within budget.
  • Manage projects using waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies, applying the right approach for business and operational needs.
  • Oversee multi-vendor and 3rd-party system integrations, ensuring alignment with operational, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and issues while ensuring governance and reporting accuracy.
  • Drive process definition, improvement, and business transformation initiatives across IT and OT environments.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with all levels, from analysts to executives and field operators.
  • Ensure operational readiness through change management, training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to project delivery practices to enhance efficiency and consistency.
