As a Program Manager at UCare, you will be responsible for partnering with the Program Owner(s) to successfully implement complex, cross-functional projects that support the organization's strategic plan, regulatory requirements, new product development, and operational initiatives. Your success will be defined by the measures and objectives identified in the Program Charter. You will plan all aspects of the program, monitor, and report on progress and results. Your responsibilities will include the successful planning, execution, and completion of a program in accordance with the policies, practices, and processes of the Project Management Office. You will build and manage highly engaged program work teams, manage program risks and issues, and identify program interdependencies. Communication of program status, decisions, and barriers to program leadership and key stakeholders will be essential throughout the program and across the portfolio as needed. Additionally, you will partner with change leads, program owners, and sponsors to develop and incorporate change management practices into the program from inception through closure. Ensuring that projects are delivered in a manner that confirms business, IT, members, and providers experience a smooth transition from project to production will be a key focus. You will also manage, encourage, and develop program staff in both direct and indirect influence situations, ensuring program management tasks remain current throughout the program lifecycle. Your role will involve organizing, motivating, and providing leadership to cross-functional work teams from all operating areas, building relationships at all levels of the organization to facilitate collaboration between departments to deliver desired program outcomes. Finally, you will prepare and manage the program budget, forecasting, and staffing needs throughout the year, along with other projects and duties as assigned.
