About The Position

The PMO Director will serve as a key partner to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in developing and implementing an innovation strategy for the organization. This role involves both high-level strategic decision-making and hands-on project management, particularly in the context of large-scale Oracle implementations within a manufacturing environment. The PMO Director will oversee the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring that IT programs and projects align with organizational goals and requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Four-year degree in science, business or related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience in PMO, IT or related fields.
  • Exceptional influencing and team development skills.
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and multitask.
  • Certification in Project Management is highly preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills with particular emphasis on demonstrated proficiency in Excel.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to generate buy-in and collaboration for large scale programs and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, selection and roll-out of PMO tools that enable the integrated delivery model.
  • Provide the necessary training and facilitating skills to drive transformation activities and ensure long term adoption.
  • Document all key decisions and action items related to the divisions strategy and optimal portfolio value.
  • Own the logistics plan for stage-gate decision process and core team meetings.
  • Adhere to best practices for program management process as well as contracts.
  • Ensure functional area deliverables are understood, cross-functionally aligned, and execution of deliverables and timelines are on track.
  • Manage IT portfolio, along with vendors and contractors.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the IT department and sub departments.
  • Ensure adherence to practices, procedures, precedents, policy and Executive Leadership direction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
