About The Position

TAG is seeking a PMO Analyst to join our Project Management Office (PMO) and support how work is planned, launched, coordinated, and sustained across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of intake, onboarding, planning, coordination, and analysis, ensuring projects start well, stay aligned, and maintain momentum across multiple teams, timelines, and priorities. The PMO Analyst serves as connective tissue between strategy and execution, translating approved work into clear plans, monitoring progress and risk, coordinating shared resources, and providing visibility into overall project health, including client-facing coordination, particularly during onboarding and early project phases. This is an ideal role for someone with a few years of professional experience who is highly organized, analytically capable, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a consulting or professional services environment. This position is a hybrid (in office & remote) role. Candidates must be able to work in the corporate office in Chesterfield, MO a minimum of three (3) days per week. During an approximate 30-day probationary period, in-office attendance will be full-time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in project coordination, analysis, consulting, professional services, or a similar environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfort working across teams, departments, and stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence engaging in client-facing interactions or the ability to develop this quickly
  • Proficiency with Excel for tracking, analysis, and organization
  • Experience with project tracking tools or workflows
  • Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Ability to analyze processes, timelines, and effort requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a PMO, consulting, or healthcare-related professional services environment
  • Exposure to client onboarding or coordination roles
  • Interest in project or PMO career development (e.g., CAPM or similar, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Support project intake and onboarding by helping define scope, timelines, dependencies, and readiness
  • Translate approved work into structured project plans and tracking artifacts
  • Ensure work is properly prepared before launch and aligned with internal capacity and client expectations
  • Monitor active projects for risks, dependencies, and timeline slippage
  • Proactively surface issues and help coordinate corrective actions
  • Help sustain momentum across projects involving multiple teams and contributors
  • Assist in coordinating shared resources across multiple active projects
  • Support sequencing, prioritization, and capacity discussions
  • Maintain visibility into overall project status and constraints
  • Analyze process timelines, effort estimates, and work duration to support planning and forecasting
  • Assist with calculating required hours and costs to complete work
  • Prepare clear, organized reporting for internal leadership and client-facing use
  • Support client onboarding and coordination activities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Build credibility and trust through preparedness, follow-through, and clear communication
  • Help develop, document, and improve PMO processes, tools, and standards
  • Identify opportunities to streamline intake, planning, coordination, and reporting workflows
  • Support adoption of evolving PMO practices as the organization scales
