About The Position

POSITION FUNCTION Responsible, under general supervision, to perform routine electrical jobs, plumbing and pipe fitting, replace and repair windows and doors, do mechanical and electrical repairs on tow motors and delivery trucks as required. May assist in construction of new additions to buildings, or changes to existing structures. Job is performed in an industrial environment. Requires some heavy lifting, seventy five (75) to eighty (80) pounds. Must furnish own hand tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Move heavy machinery; may be installing new equipment or loading and delivering to a different location. Drive delivery trucks when necessary; trips could be local or short hauls. Performs maintenance on industrial vehicles. Install, repair, or replace electrical and plumbing fixtures. Assist in building construction as required. (New additions, change to existing buildings, repair, replace, or install concrete pads), Performing daily, weekly and monthly checks for scheduled assignments. Perform quarterly preventive maintenance checks. Must be able to operate overhead crane and forklift. Observe all safety regulations related to job assignment. Perform any related duties as required or assigned. Must be able to work flexible shifts. Performs any related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

Trade School training in automotive mechanics, apprentice electrician, or two (2) years experience in maintenance of buildings and motor vehicles.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Able to operate forklift and overhead crane.
Must furnish own hand tools.

Nice To Haves

Some phase 3 electrical experience preferred.
