Columbus Behavioral Center for Children and Adolescents is a 56-bed, private residential behavioral health facility located in Columbus, Indiana—just 45 minutes south of Indianapolis. Set on 6.5 fully-fenced acres, our secure and therapeutic environment is designed to support the mental health needs of male and female youth ages 8–17. We are currently seeking a part-time PMHNP to work with our child and adolescent psychiatry services. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate, experienced psychiatrist to make a lasting impact in a supportive, multidisciplinary care environment. At Columbus Behavioral Center, we provide evidence-based residential treatment for youth ages 8 to 17 facing serious behavioral health challenges, substance abuse disorders, and frequent psychiatric hospitalizations. Our family-focused programs deliver individualized care plans, trauma-informed therapy, and 24/7 clinical support to help youth achieve emotional stability and behavioral change. Specialized Programming Includes: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Residential Program for girls ages 12–18 Structured clinical programming focused on reducing self-harm, suicidal ideation, and impulsive behaviors Average length of stay: 3 to 9 months, tailored to individual progress We work closely with families and community partners to ensure a successful transition back home or into an appropriate level of continued care.
