About The Position

Neuro Wellness Spa is recruiting a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team (on-site). As a premier provider of rTMS, therapy, and psychopharmacology, Neuro Wellness Spa continues to expand throughout California with locations in Manhattan Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Torrance, Long Beach, Marina Del Rey, Westlake Village, Pasadena, Brea, Lake Forest and Encino. We are currently seeking a like-minded, quality-focused, and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in outpatient psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based psychopharmacology. Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program
Minimum of one year post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting
Experience as a nurse practitioner in mental health and psychiatric care
Valid and current California Nurse Practitioner license with no disciplinary action
Valid DEA registration
Active credentialing with commercial insurance payors
Successful clearance of pre-employment health screening
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Ability to function independently in most clinical decision-making
Effective communication with physicians and ancillary staff
Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
Knowledge of psychiatric medications including indications, dosing, and side effects
Empathy and compassion for patients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
EMR systems: minimum 2 years
Medication administration: minimum 2 years
Telehealth: minimum 1 year
PMHNP certification required
Experience referring patients to higher levels of care
Minimum of 6 to 12 months of paid experience beyond preceptorship

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management
Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient’s mental health needs
Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care including therapy, medication management, and social support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including treatment plans, progress notes, and medication records
Participate in treatment planning and case conferences
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay current with evidence-based practices
Support business development through community outreach, events, and media content
Assist with training new PMHNPs and site staff as appropriate
Perform other duties as assigned
