About The Position
Coverage: PMHNP would assist with either Woodridge Hospital Unit coverage or the adult Consult/Liaison service at JCMC. Team: PMHNP will work in collaboration and under the supervision of the Staff Psychiatrists. Currently 4 PMHNPs Social Workers/ Therapist onsite Treatment Team done daily RN/LPN/ Tech staff Nurse Manager on both units Hours/Day: 8-Hour day, can begin at 8am or 9am. 8-5 or 9-6. 2nd certs ( CON’s) during call: 2nd certs are required for any TN admissions which are involuntary. These are done via laptop or tablet and secure portal. Details listed above. Unit demographics: Adult, sub-acute population, We do take some Geropsychiatry patients depending on level of functioning. Main diagnosis: bipolar, schizoaffective disorder, secondary detox, depression, insomnia, suicidal ideations. EMR: EPIC
Requirements
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification required
- Consideration also given to Physician Assistants with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry
