Why ReDiscover? 700+ dedicated professionals Over five decades of community impact A culture grounded in compassion, collaboration, and growth About the Crisis Services Program The Crisis Services Program is the first program of it's kind in the Kansas City area that provides the community immediate, same-day access to psychiatric medication for mental health and substance use needs. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the team provides care to clients every day of the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the client's and community's needs. What You’ll Do Provide leadership, clinical supervision, and evaluation for assigned staff members which includes supervision and development meetings, as well as attending quarterly supervisor meetings. Participate in evaluation and developing means of enhancing departmental performance as a member of the leadership team. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate psychotropic medication. Manage medical care and treatment for clients seeking services at ReDiscover. Demonstrate significant cooperation with internal sources (administration, program managers, team leaders, etc) and external sources to ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality, accessible in a timely fashion, and produce positive outcomes for those we serve. Provide feedback and reports to appropriate management staff and, as appropriate, to funding sources. Actively participate in a variety of cross-functional teams and performance improvement initiatives, services shall be provided and administrative duties conducted in accordance with the standards of clinical practice established by the State of Missouri, the Federal Government (including various agencies), the policies and procedures of ReDiscover, and the contractual requirements of all payers. Assure compliance with standards, regulations, and laws, and work with other leadership staff to ensure the financial viability of assigned service areas. Works collaboratively with Human Resources to identify and coordinate viable PMHNP preceptors for ReDiscover’s Student Experience program.
