Requirements

  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Fluent in North Coast warehouse and system processes
  • Self-starter, team player with the ability to lead others with a quality focus
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Willingness and desire to improve the knowledge and skill level of self and others

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for ensuring proper labor balancing between core areas of the warehouse, including receiving, picking, outbound parcels, project warehouse, cycle counting, wire cutting, pipe yard, etc.
  • Responsible for keeping the Warehouse in Process/Status queues clear and compliant with End of Month guidelines
  • Secondary responder and problem solver for warehouse lead emails, with a response time of 1 hour
  • Complete weekly performance reviews of Associates using data-driven metrics
  • Actively engaged within the warehouse, providing on-call mentorship and problem-solving for Associates
  • Lead by example an effective and efficient team, with an emphasis on positively motivating, training, and uplifting associates
  • Maintain and cultivate a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety policies and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
