About The Position

The position involves working in a food production facility, specifically in the assembly of sandwiches using various frozen ingredients. The role requires the employee to open bags and boxes of ingredients, assemble sandwiches, wrap and label them, and pack products into boxes. Employees will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the work area and notifying supervisors of any issues with products or equipment. Compliance with safety guidelines and regulations is essential.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to comprehend basic verbal instructions and read product labels.
• Reliable and dependable; available to work Monday through Friday plus Saturday if directed.
• No minimum education requirement; High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-Year experience in a food production facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open various bags and boxes of ingredients to ensure bins and totes are filled.
• Assemble sandwiches on a production line using frozen ingredients.
• Wrap and label assembled sandwiches.
• Rotate duties and production lines as directed.
• Pack products in boxes; seal, label, and palletize boxes.
• Use a pallet jack to move products.
• Assist in keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Notify supervisors of inferior product issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
