The Project Manager, Major Construction, is responsible for leading and coordinating multiple complex activities. This includes partnering with internal and external stakeholders to help coordinate planning, design, execution, monitoring and closeout of complex substations. The Project Manager, Major Construction will manage high value, long duration and high impact infrastructure projects located in New York. Projects managed include but are not limited to rebuilds with voltages ranging from 34.5kV to 345kV, substation new air insulated, gas insulated installation and rebuilds from 4.16kV to 345kV, automation, distribution voltage level work. These projects are multi-million-dollar heavy construction efforts executed through several contracts put in place and managed by the Project Manager. The Project Manager will manage resource requirements, priorities, investment plans, project execution strategy and internal/external resource requirements. Responsible for the overall project control and coordination of the scheduling, cost controlling and reporting processes and functions.
