About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a PM Full-Time Courier. This role supports evening operations and is essential to ensuring timely and secure delivery of packages. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, efficiency, and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Requirements

• Must commit to a 12-month term in the department.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs without assistance.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous courier or delivery experience preferred but not required.
• Required 12 months in the role before bidding on another route, and 18 months before applying for a different position.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using company systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and station personnel to ensure timely service.
