Primary Objective of Dining Room Server Position To provide quality service to hotel restaurant guests by providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable food and beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- Reviews menu with diners, suggesting dinner courses, appropriate wines, and answering questions regarding food and cocktail preparations.
- Enters orders accurately in POS and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
- Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
- Observes diners to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed.
- Presents bill and processes payment
- Replenishes supplies and prepares for the next meal.
- Other duties as assigned
